A Letter from Bryan Moore

Dear Arkham Studios patrons,
Yes, each and every one of you are a valued patron, not just a customer or fan. Most of you have made repeat acquisitions and for this I am forever grateful. Welcome back! The studio took an extended hiatus for a while as I toiled in the toy industry for companies like Mattel, Upper Deck, Disguise, Inc., Jakks Pacific and Clive Barker’s Dark Bazaar. While those jobs may pay the bills, they were never the same as exploring my own artistic path. The best advice I ever heard was “Invest in yourself” and I’m a firm believer in that philosophy. You’ll note a few changes on the website. Many figure editions have sold out and they are duly listed here for archival purposes. There’s a few new pieces, notably the Satan bust, which is the first in the series of the four Crown Princes of Hell. Next up is Lucifer and I have a terrific model for that one as I give the “most beautiful fallen angel” a more feminine form than one would normally expect. I’ll do my best to post some in progress shots on my new blog so you can see how the process is done. Another major change here is that I’ve relocated from Carlsbad, CA back to my old stomping grounds, good old Los Angeles! While last year was very volatile for so many, I didn’t escape the roller coaster ride either. From two separate moves to the loss of my former business partner, outstanding orders got pushed back and delayed for my extremely patient patrons. Although I’m still looking for a suitable new studio space, my good friends Sean Branney and Andrew Leman of the HP Lovecraft Historical Society have agreed to let me utilize their excellent facility to catch up on the back orders, until I find the new digs to set up a production facility again. This may take a little time, but it will get done. I tell ya, if you don’t have your friends watching your back, you don’t have anything! If you have an outstanding order, I’ll indulge your patience for just a little longer as I get caught up from the curveballs that life can throw at us from time to time. If you have a new mailing address, drop me a line so the figure can go to the right place. In the meantime, enjoy the new look of the site, check in with my blog and remember this: Take nothing for granted. It can all be taken away in a second. Ever forward! Bry ![]() |
